Being the scaredy-cat control freak that I am, I've been keeping most of my book close to my chest. Have vowed to find a publisher for MotherLoad this year.
First baby step was sharing some chapters with mum-friends - Tick. Loads of positive comments. Feels like I've got something worth sharing here...
Second baby step was submitting a poem, then a chapter, to Parenting Express. - Tick. Guess what, got published as lead piece in July issue.
Third baby step was to upload some chapter samples on this blog - Tick.
